The Global Tamil Trade Centre is an initiative that promotes trade, innovation, and entrepreneurship for products and services from Tamil Nadu. It focuses on agriculture, value-added foods, handicrafts, GI-tagged heritage products, and MSME manufacturing. The Centre acts as a hub for creators, farmers, artisans, and entrepreneurs throughout the state.
In the next five years, GTTC aims to become one of the largest Tamil business and trade ecosystems in the world. It plans to connect over 1,000 global Tamil entrepreneurs and generate more than ₹1,000 crore in economic activity. By adopting technology, preparing for exports, and providing structured market access, GTTC will create jobs, support rural communities, and boost Tamil Nadu’s presence in global trade.
